Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of September 22

Since the start of September 22, there have been 83 combat engagements on the front. The enemy is most active in assaults in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions:
Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attacks, while three combat engagements are still ongoing. The enemy carried out five airstrikes, dropped 15 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 103 artillery strikes, including seven from multiple launch rocket systems.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction:
Since the start of the day, the Defense Forces repelled five enemy attacks, with two combat engagements still ongoing. The enemy is attacking near Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, and toward Odradne and Kutkivka.
Kupiansk direction:
Ukrainian forces successfully stopped two enemy offensives in the areas of Kupiansk and Pishchane.
Lyman direction:
Eight combat engagements occurred near the settlements of Olhivka, Novoiehorivka, Hrekivka, Stavky, Shandryholove, Derylove, Torske, and Zarichne, with three engagements still ongoing.
Siversk direction:
Two combat engagements are currently ongoing near Serebrianka.
Kramatorsk direction:
Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks near Stupochky.
Toretsk direction:
The enemy launched 12 attacks in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Berestok, Katerynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Poltavka, and toward Stepanivka; combat is still ongoing in three locations.
Pokrovsk direction:
32 engagements of varying intensity occurred during the day near the settlements of Nikanorivka, Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Promin, Myrnohrad, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and Dachne. Six combat engagements are still ongoing.
Novopavlivka direction:
The aggressor attempted to advance eight times in the areas of Filiia, Sichneve, Shevchenko, Sosnivka, Novoivanivka, and Ternove. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.
Huliaipole, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovskyi directions:
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations, but carried out airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia and Zaliznychne in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Lvove and Mykolaivka in the Kherson region.
Russian losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has lost approximately 1,102,570 military personnel.
In particular, over the past day, Russian forces lost 960 soldiers. Ukrainian troops also destroyed 1 tank, 1 armored combat vehicle, 47 artillery systems, 3 helicopters, 403 drones, and other enemy equipment.
