Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of September 20

On the frontlines, 165 combat clashes occurred over the past day. The most intense fighting was recorded near Pokrovsk, as well as in the Novopavlivka and Toretsk directions, according to the Ukrainian General Staff.
According to updated information, yesterday the invaders carried out two missile strikes on Ukrainian territory with two rockets and 78 airstrikes, dropping 154 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 6,137 kamikaze drones and conducted 4,752 attacks on positions of our troops and populated areas, including 95 strikes with multiple-launch rocket systems.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation, missile troops, and artillery struck one enemy drone control center, three artillery positions, and one command-and-observation post.
Situation on the frontlines
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, nine combat clashes occurred over the past day. In addition, the enemy carried out nine airstrikes, dropping 27 guided bombs, and conducted 146 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, including three with multiple-launch rocket systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attempted to storm Ukrainian positions five times near Vovchansk, Fyholivka, and in the direction of Odradne.
In the Kupiansk direction, three enemy attacks were recorded during the day. Defense forces repelled assaults in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka and Pishchane.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 15 times, attempting to advance near Novomykhailivka, Shandryholove, Kolodiazi, Torske, Zarichne, and toward Stavky, Novoselivka, and Serednie.
In the Siversk direction, enemy forces attacked Ukrainian positions nine times in the areas of Yampil, Serebrianka, Siversk, Vyimka, and Dronivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, three combat clashes were recorded, with the enemy attacking near Stupochok.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 19 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, Poltavka, and toward Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Ivanopillia, and Stepanivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 50 assault and offensive actions by the enemy near Volodymyrivka, Nikanorivka, Nove Shakhove, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Udachne, Dachne, Chervonyi Lyman, and Novopavlivka.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 33 times near Filia, Voskresenka, Berezove, Maliivka, Novoivanivka, Piddubne, Zelenyi Hai, Tolstoi, Sichneve, Novomykolaivka, and Olhivske.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked twice near Kamianske and toward Stepnohirsk.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy made two unsuccessful attempts to approach Ukrainian positions near the Antonivskyi Bridge.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian losses in the war against Ukraine have exceeded 1,100,600 soldiers. Over the past day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 1,070 Russians.
