Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of August 27

Since the start of the day on August 27, there have been 110 combat clashes on the front. Russian forces are actively attacking, particularly in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, since the start of the day, the enemy has carried out 56 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, using 84 guided aerial bombs. There have been 1,647 strikes by kamikaze drones, and the enemy has conducted 3,554 artillery shellings.
Six combat clashes occurred today in the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions. Over the course of the day, the enemy conducted 165 artillery strikes, including four from multiple rocket launch systems; carried out 12 airstrikes, dropping 23 guided bombs.
Ukrainian units repelled three attacks in the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction near the settlements of Hlyboke and Kolodiazne. Two combat clashes are still ongoing near Vovchansk and Kamianka.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted six times to break through Ukrainian defensive positions near Kupiansk, with four attacks still ongoing.
The enemy launched 20 attacks in the Lyman direction, attempting to advance in the areas of Novomykhailivka, Novyi Myr, Zelena Dolyna, Kolodiazi, Torske, Serebrianka, and toward Yampil, Zakitne, Dronivka, and Shandryholove. Nine combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled three attacks near Fedorivka, Hryhorivka, and toward Siversk. One combat clash is ongoing.
The enemy attempted seven times to break into Ukrainian defenses in the Toretsk direction near Pleshchiivka, Toretsk, and Poltavka.
Russian troops are intensively attacking Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsk direction. During the day, the aggressor carried out 33 assault and offensive actions.
Enemy activity was recorded in the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Novoekonomichne, Myrolyubivka, Sukhetske, Lysivka, Udachne, Molodetske, Novoukrainka, and in the directions of Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Promin, Balahan, Novopavlivka, Chervonyi Lyman, and Pokrovsk. One combat clash is ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, Ukrainian forces eliminated 151 soldiers in this direction today, including 107 permanently. The defenders also destroyed an armored combat vehicle, an artillery gun, seven cars, a motorcycle, 84 drones, and an enemy drone control post.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attacks near the settlements of Filiia, Ivanivka, Voskresenka, and toward Sichneve. One combat clash is ongoing.
No enemy offensive actions have been recorded today in the Kramatorsk, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovskyi directions; however, the enemy carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Bilohiria and Mykolaivka.
Russian losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost approximately 1,078,750 military personnel.
In particular, over the past day, Russian forces lost 920 soldiers. Ukrainian troops also destroyed 1 tank, 45 artillery systems, 1 air defense system, 194 drones, and other enemy equipment.
