Since the beginning of August 25, there have been 76 combat engagements on the front. Russian forces are attacking in almost all directions, with the heaviest fighting in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the Ukrainian General Staff.

Ukrainian defenders are currently repelling enemy attacks in the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions. The enemy also carried out four airstrikes, dropped seven KAB bombs, and conducted 93 shelling attacks, including two from multiple launch rocket systems. Ukrainian units are taking active measures to disrupt Russia’s plans and have achieved successes in some locations.

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions seven times near Hlyboke, Vovchansk, Ambarne, and toward Kutkivka and Kolodiazne, with four combat engagements ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, four attacks continue on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Synkivka, Holubivka, Kolisnykivka, and Zahryzove.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked 13 times near Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka, Kolodiazi, Novoselivka, Zelena Dolyna, and toward Yampil and Serebrianka. The Defense Forces successfully repelled six enemy advances; fighting continues.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy tried to break through near Fedorivka but was repelled.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked seven times near Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, and toward Stupochky, with one engagement ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction, the Russian army attacked twice near Dyliivka and Toretsk today. The enemy also struck Kostiantynivka with KAB bombs.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the start of the day, the Russian army made 32 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from positions near Nikanorivka, Maiak, Myroliubivka, Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Hrodivka, Sukhyi Yar, Lysivka, Chunyshyne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Horikhove, and Dachne. The Defense Forces held their ground and repelled 30 attacks; fighting continues.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked seven times near Yalta, Zelenyi Hai, Voskresenka, Shevchenko, and Komyshuvakha, with battles ongoing in four locations. The enemy also conducted an airstrike on Havrylivka.

In the Huliaipole direction, enemy aviation struck Bilohiria and Zaliznychne.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes near Malokaterynivka and Kushuhum, while Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attack near Plavni.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, combat is ongoing. Enemy aviation also struck Virivka and Odradokamianka.

No significant changes have been reported in the other directions of the front.

Russian losses in the war

According to the General Staff, since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has lost an estimated 1,076,940 personnel.

In the past 24 hours, Russian forces lost 870 soldiers. Ukrainian forces also destroyed one tank, eight armored combat vehicles, 48 artillery systems, 291 drones, and other enemy equipment.
