Russian forces continue their assaults along various parts of the front. As of the evening of July 15, a total of 148 combat engagements were recorded, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On July 15 alone, Russian forces launched one missile strike and 39 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, using three missiles and dropping 61 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, they deployed 1,218 kamikaze drones and carried out over 4,000 artillery and mortar attacks.
Frontline situation
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, there were 10 combat engagements since the beginning of the day. In addition, the enemy launched one airstrike, dropping four guided aerial bombs, and carried out 165 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including three strikes using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks near the settlements of Vovchansk and Stroivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army attempted to advance five times in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Zahryzove, and Pishchane. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled all enemy assaults.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces launched 24 attacks on Defense Forces positions near the settlements of Novyi Myr, Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, and toward Shandryholove and Serebrianka. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks near Hryhorivka and Vyiimka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions seven times in the areas of Predtechyne, Bila Hora, and Stupochky. One engagement remains active.
In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces launched five assaults on Ukrainian positions near Diliivka, Toretsk, Novospaske, and Rusyn Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attempted to advance 41 times since the beginning of the previous day in the areas of Popiv Yar, Novoeconomichne, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Zvirove, Udachne, and Oleksiivka, moving toward the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Muravka Filiya, and Dachne. Three combat engagements are currently ongoing.
According to preliminary data, 93 enemy personnel were neutralized in this direction today, including 63 irrecoverable losses. Additionally, four vehicles, two motorcycles, 22 unmanned aerial vehicles, and one artillery piece were destroyed. One enemy tank and another artillery piece were also damaged.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy made 22 attempts to break through the defense lines of Ukrainian forces near the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Piddubne, Lisne, Myrne, Maliivka, Shevchenko, Novosilka, and toward Novokhatske. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy did not carry out any offensive actions. In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian army launched an airstrike near the settlement of Novoandriivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian forces repelled seven enemy attacks near the Antonivskyi Bridge and close to the Kozulskyi and Zabich islands.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian forces have lost 1,036,290 soldiers since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
