Since the start of the day, 69 combat engagements have been recorded on the frontline. Russian forces continue attempting to break through defenses in several directions simultaneously, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russian forces are striking populated areas near the border with Russia. As of 4:00 p.m., artillery shelling has hit settlements including Bohdanove in Chernihiv region; Zarichne, Prohress, Pokrovka, Maryine, Uhroidy, Velyka Pysarivka, Hirky, Bila Bereza, Petrushivka, Kucherivka, Myropilske, Nova Huta, Prokhody in Sumy region; and Tymofiivka, Vidrodzhenivske in Kharkiv region.

Situation by directions

In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight enemy attacks today. The enemy also carried out seven airstrikes using 12 guided bombs and launched 171 artillery strikes.

Two attacks were repelled near the settlements of Vovchansk and Petropavlivka in the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted one advance on Ukrainian positions near Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian army attacked eleven times near Ridkodub, Torske, and in the directions of Hrekivka, Shandryholove, and Novyi Myr.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped an enemy attack near Ivano-Dariivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Defense Forces repelled four enemy attempts to advance near Markove, Predtechyne, and toward Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked positions of Ukrainian troops five times toward Oleksandro-Kalynove and Rusynyi Yar. One engagement is still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 23 attacks today against Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Troitske, and in the directions of Poltavka, Oleksiivka, Myrne, and Novopavlivka. One battle continues to this moment. The settlements of Poltavka and Myrnohrad were hit by Russian guided aerial bombs.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks near Shevchenko, Fedorivka, and toward Yalta and Komar. Five of eight enemy offensive actions were repelled; three engagements are still ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, no engagements have occurred since the start of the day.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy struck Kamianske with unguided missiles.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to advance.

Russian losses on the frontline

It should be noted that in the past 24 hours, from June 26 to 27, Russian forces lost nearly 1,000 soldiers in battles against Ukraine.

Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 13 artillery systems and 89 vehicles.

Earlier today, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces updated battle maps showing frontline changes.
