Over the last day, June 26, 187 combat engagements took place on the frontline. Russia put the most pressure on the Pokrovsk sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 16 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and one enemy control point," Ukraine's General Staff writes.

Situation at front

In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 28 Russian attacks yesterday.

In the South-Slobozhanskyi sector, Russia attacked 13 times near the settlements of Hlyboke, Zybine, Vovchansk, Krasne Pershe, Kamianka, Kindrashivka, and Mala Shapkivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russians attacked 9 times near Holubivka, Kindrashivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Zelenyi Hai, and in the directions of Petropavlivka and Nova Kruhliakivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russians attacked 18 times near Hrekivka, Novyi Myr, Ridkodub, and in the directions of Olhivka, Serednie, Kolodiazy, Zelena Dolyna, and Torske.

In the Siversk sector, Russians conducted 2 attempts to advance in the directions of Vyimka and Fedorivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops attacked 5 times in the directions of Markove, Bila Hora, and Bondarne.

In the Toretsk sector, Russians carried out 23 attacks near Toretsk, Dachne, Shcherbynivka, Oleksandr-Kalynove, Dyliivka, Romanivka, Yablunivka, and Rusyn Yar.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 56 Russian attacks were stopped in the vicinity of Poltavka, Malynivka, Shevchenko Pershe, Myrne, and other localities.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Russian troops carried out 25 attacks near the settlements of Zirka, Yalta, Zaporizhzhia, Bahatyr, Fedorivka, Komar, and others.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russians conducted 5 offensive attempts, suffered losses, and retreated.

Russian troops did not conduct any offensive actions on the Huliaipole and Orikhiv sectors.

Russia's losses

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost over 1.016 million troops. Over the past day alone, Russian losses amounted to another 970 soldiers.

Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed one Russian tank, 4 armored combat vehicles, 13 artillery systems, 87 operational and tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, and 89 units of Russian vehicles.
