Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of June 21

As of 10 p.m. Kyiv time, June 21, 128 combat engagements took place on the frontline over the last day. The largest number of combat engagements was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Today, Russia launched 12 missiles, 54 air strikes, and dropped 80 guided aerial bombs. It also used 1,131 kamikaze drones for attacks and fired 4,431 times at Ukrainian settlements and positions.
Sectors
Ukrainian defenders repelled 7 Russian attacks in the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors. Russians launched 3 air strikes, dropped 6 guided aerial bombs, and fired 152 artillery rounds, including 5 from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi sector, Ukrainian defenders held off 6 Russian attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Fiholivka, and Liptsy.
In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 5 Russian attacks in the areas of Zahryzove and Holubivka.
12 Russian assault actions were stopped by Ukrainian soldiers near the settlements of Hrekivka, Ridkodub, Yampolivka, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, in the direction of Cherneshchyna, Olhivka, Novyi Myr, Karpivka in the Lyman sector. 4 more combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 6 Russian attempts to advance in the areas of Bila Hora, Stupochky, and towards Predtechyno. One combat clash is still ongoing.
In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders 10 times today in the areas of Dyliivka, Shcherbynivka, and towards Yablunivka.

During the day, Russians conducted 43 offensives in the Pokrovsk sector. Russian activity was recorded near the settlements of Myrne, Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Nova Poltavka, Lysivka, Dachenske, Shevchenko, Udachne, Horikhove, Kotliarivka, in the direction of Pokrovsk, Poltavka, Shakhove, and Oleksiivka. 4 battles are still ongoing. Russia launched air strikes near Razine, Novoekonomichne, and Sukhyi Yar.
"According to preliminary data, 222 Russian troops have been neutralized in this sector, 126 of them are irretrievably wounded. In addition, Ukrainian troops destroyed a Russian tank, 2 unmanned aerial vehicle antennas, 2 communication antennas, 9 motorcycles, 6 cars, 2 satellite communication terminals, and 25 drones. Russian loses
From June 20 to June 21, Russia lost another 1,060 troops in the war against Ukraine. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 19 Russian artillery systems, 123 drones, and 116 vehicles.
