Since the beginning of June 13, Russian forces have launched 113 attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the frontline. The most intense fighting is taking place in the Lyman, Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, and Kursk directions, according to the summary from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In particular, the Russian army attacked several settlements near the border in the Chernihiv region (Kliusy and Yasna Polyana) and the Sumy region (Studenok, Bila Bereza, Turia, and Oleksandrivka). In total, Russian forces carried out at least 133 shelling attacks and launched numerous air-dropped bomb strikes.

Situation on the frontlines

Kharkiv direction: Russian forces are attempting to advance in Vovchansk and near Kamianka. One attack was repelled.

Kupiansk direction: Five Russian attacks were recorded near Stepova Novoselivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and toward Novoplatonivka.

Lyman direction: Ukrainian forces repelled nine enemy attacks in the areas of Novyi Myr, Serhiivka, Lypove, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, and Hryhorivka.

Siversk direction: Two Russian assaults toward Serebrianka were repelled.

Kramatorsk direction: Five Russian assaults were repelled near Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Kurdiumivka, and Bila Hora.

Toretsk direction: Ukrainian units repelled 9 out of 11 enemy attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Oleksandro-Kalyneve, Yablunivka, and Rusyn Yar.

Pokrovsk direction – the most difficult: Ukrainian defenders repelled 33 out of 35 Russian attacks near Popiv Yar, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Orikhove, and Oleksiivka.

Novopavlivka direction: Ukrainian forces repelled 10 out of 16 attacks near the settlements of Odradne, Skudne, Vesele, Burlatske, Novosilka, and Zelene Pole.

Huliaipole and Orikhiv directions: Russian attacks were repelled near Malynivka and, respectively, Nesterianka. The settlements of Olhivske, Zaliznychne, Bilohiria, Poltavka, Novoandriivka, Prymorske, Stepnohirsk, and Plavni were hit by air-dropped guided bombs (KABs).

Kursk direction: Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 out of 20 enemy attacks. Russian troops also tried to bomb Ukrainian forces by dropping guided aerial bombs and shelling positions with artillery.

In other directions, according to the General Staff, no significant changes were observed as of the evening of June 13.

Russian losses in the war

Meanwhile, as reported by RBC-Ukraine, since February 24, 2022, Russian occupation forces have lost over one million personnel. In the past year and a half alone, the number of “good Russians” has increased by 628,000.
