On June 1, 146 combat engagements took place at the frontline. Russia put the most pressure on the Pokrovsk sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Yesterday, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit 13 areas of concentration of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment, 2 drone control points, 7 artillery systems and a Russian electronic warfare station," Ukraine's General Staff writes.

Situation at the front

In the Kharkiv sector, three firefights took place in the vicinity of Fyholivka, Hlyboke, and Krasne Pershe.

In the Kupiansk sector, 10 Russian attacks were registered in the vicinity of Stepova Novoselivka and Nova Kruhliakivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russia attacked 20 times, trying to advance in the areas of Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Nadiia, Ridkodub, and Yampil.

In the Siversk sector, Russia attacked Ukrainian positions 8 times in the area of Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, and towards Hryhorivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 5 Russian attacks in the area of Chasiv Yar and the direction of Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk sector, Russia carried out 11 attacks in the vicinity of Toretsk and Dyliivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped 47 Russian attacks in the vicinity of Popov Yar, Myroliubivka, Malynivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Novomykolaivka, and Andriivka.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 14 Russian attacks in the areas of Novosilka, Zelene Pole, Novopil, Vilne Pole, Bahatyr, Kostiantynopil, and Odradne.

In the Orikhiv sector, near Stepove, Russian troops launched 2 attacks.

There were 19 firefights in the Kursk sector.

Russia's losses in war against Ukraine

Since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost over 989,000 troops. Over the past 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have eliminated another 1,140 Russian troops, 2 tanks, 7 armored combat vehicles, and 48 artillery systems.
