As of June 2, 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed almost 990,000 Russian troops, thousands of equipment units, hundreds of drones and missiles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to June 2, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 989,700 (+1,140) Russian troops were eliminated
  • tanks - 10,874 (+2)
  • troop-carrying AFVs - 22,663 (+7)
  • artillery systems - 28,575 (+48) units
  • MLRS - 1,401
  • anti-aircraft systems - 1,175 (+2)
  • airplanes - 372
  • helicopters - 336
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 38,622 (+256)
  • cruise missiles - 3,271 (+3)
  • warships/boats - 28
  • submarines - 1
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 50,462 (+137)
  • special equipment - 3,905 (+2)

Situation at the front

Over the past day, 107 combat engagements took place on the frontline. Russian troops launched 6 missiles and 50 guided bombs, 1,396 attacks by kamikaze drones, and over 4000 artillery shellings.

In the Lyman sector, Russia conducted 19 attacks in the areas of Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Nadiia, Ridkodub, and Yampol. The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk sector, with 47 attacks reported over the past day. Russians were active near Popiv Yar, Myroliubivka, Malynivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Novomykolaivka, and Andriivka. Fighting is still ongoing in 3 of these locations.
