Since the beginning of May 30, there have been 149 combat clashes on the front line. Russian forces are carrying out the most attacks in four directions in the Donetsk region and the Kursk region, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy shelling

The Russian army launched one missile strike and 68 airstrikes on Ukrainian territory, using two missiles and 107 guided aerial bombs (GABs). In addition, the Russians deployed 1,384 kamikaze drones and carried out 4,355 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, our forces repelled four enemy attacks near Vovchansk, Starytsia, and Kamianka.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out seven offensive actions against our defenders' positions near Kindrashivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Zelenyi Hai, and toward Pishchane. Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks, while three clashes are still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 24 times during the day near the settlements of Hrekivka, Kopanky, Ridkodub, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, and in the directions of Novyi Myr, Olhivka, and Karpivka. Four clashes remain unresolved at this time.

In the Siversk direction, our defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks in the direction of Hryhorivka, Ivano-Darivka, and Verkhnokamianske. Six clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, one combat clash has been recorded so far. The Russian army attempted to advance in the area of Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces attacked Defense Forces positions seven times. The main focus of the offensive was near Toretsk and in the direction of Dyliivka and Yablunivka. Four combat clashes are currently ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, enemy units attempted to break through our defenses 38 times near the settlements of Zoria, Rusyn Yar, Poltavka, Shevchenko Pershe, Myroliubivka, Zvirove, Malynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Andriivka, Muravka, Kotliarivka, and Oleksiivka. Three clashes are still ongoing. The settlements of Stepanivka, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Zoria, Yablunivka, Volodymyrivka, Nykanorivka, Poltavka, Koptyeve, Novotoretske, Druzhkivka, Dovha Balka, Orikhove, and Oleksiivka came under airstrikes.

Today, in this direction, Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 160 enemy troops, 85 of whom were eliminated. In addition, 13 vehicles, five motorcycles, one mortar, 15 UAVs, and one armored combat vehicle were destroyed. A howitzer and a motorcycle belonging to the occupiers were also damaged.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy launched 21 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynopil, Bahatyr, Odradne, Shevchenko, Novopil, Novosilka, and Zelene Pole. Our defenders successfully repelled 16 of these attacks, while five clashes are still ongoing. The areas of Novodarivka and Olhivske were hit by airstrikes using unguided rockets.

In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes with unguided rockets on Poltavka and Zaliznychne, and dropped aerial bombs on Verkhnia Tersa, Dolynka, and Huliaipole. No offensive actions were conducted by the enemy in this area.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian army launched four attacks. The enemy forces attempted to advance toward Novodanylivka and in the area of Stepove. One battle is still ongoing.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy carried out four unsuccessful attacks and also struck Mykolaivka with unguided air rockets.

In the Kursk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 28 attacks by Russian forces over the day; two clashes are still ongoing.

In other directions, the situation has not changed significantly.

Russian air attacks

Russian forces continue to terrorize the civilian population by shelling settlements and infrastructure both in frontline areas and deep in the rear.

On the afternoon of May 30, Russian forces launched missile strikes on the village of Vasyshcheve in the Kharkiv region, damaging houses and a vehicle.

In Zaporizhzhia, drones damaged an infrastructure facility overnight, leaving 13,000 residents without electricity.

Overall, during the night of May 30, the Russian forces launched 90 UAVs at Ukraine and struck with two ballistic missiles—Iskander-M/KN-23.
