Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of May 11

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that, as of 4:00 PM Kyiv time on May 11, there have been 67 clashes on the frontlines since the start of the day. The highest number of Russian assaults occurred in the Pokrovsk direction.
Enemy shelling
Today, communities of the following settlements were affected by enemy artillery and mortar fire:
- Bleshnya, Senkivka, Liskivshchyna, Tymonovychi in the Chernihiv region;
- Stara Huta, Velyka Pysarivka, Klyusy, Studenok, Mariine, Velyka Berizka, Vasylivka, Porozok, Slavhorod, Stepok in the Sumy region.
Frontline situation
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces attempted 36 times to push Ukrainian forces from their positions near the settlements of Stara Mykolaivka, Vodiane Druhe, Nova Poltavka, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Novooleksandrivka, Kotliarivka, Troitske, Andriivka, and Bahatyr. Ukrainian forces are holding their ground and have already repelled 27 enemy attacks.
In the Kharkiv direction, an attack was repelled by Ukrainian defenders today near Vovchansk.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces launched six attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Hrekivka, Nove, Ridkodub, Kolodiazi, and in the direction of Hryhorivka. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two enemy attacks near Bilohirivka. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled three Russian assault actions. The enemy tried to break through near Novomarkove, Chasiv Yar, and Andriivka. Another combat engagement is currently ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five Russian attacks near Ozarianivka, Diliivka, and Toretsk.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attempted to break through the defense of our forces twice near Kostiantynopil and Novopil.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five enemy assaults near Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, and Mali Shcherbaky.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy attacked once towards the Ukrainian positions but had no success.
In Russia's Kursk direction, four combat engagements have occurred since the beginning of the day, two of which are ongoing. Additionally, the enemy launched four airstrikes, dropping four guided bombs, and carried out 134 artillery shellings, including seven from multiple rocket launcher systems.
In other directions, there were no significant changes in the situation.
The enemy's losses
Over the past day, Russia's army lost 1,310 soldiers. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 33 artillery systems, 55 drones, and 117 units of motor vehicles.
