Since the beginning of April 29, there have been 125 combat engagements on the front line. The Russian forces continue to actively assault in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, 125 combat engagements have taken place on the front line since the beginning of the day.

Today, the Russian army also carried out 70 airstrikes, using 129 guided aerial bombs (KABs). In addition, the Russian forces deployed 1,112 kamikaze drones and launched nearly four and a half thousand attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

  • Kharkiv direction:
    Our forces stopped an enemy attack on Kam’yanka.

  • Kupiansk direction:
    The enemy launched nine assaults on our defenders' positions near Zahryzove, Stepova Novoselivka, and in the directions of Petropavlivka and Nova Kruhliakivka.

    • Ukrainian defenders repelled six of these attacks. Three engagements are still ongoing.

  • Lyman direction:

    • 21 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Lypove, Nove, Novomykhailivka, Myrne, Zelena Dolyna, and Yampolivka. Five engagements are still ongoing.

  • Siversk direction:

    • The enemy conducted three assaults on our positions near Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianske.

  • Kramatorsk direction:

    • 13 combat engagements recorded in the directions of Maiske, Predtechyne, Bila Hora, and in the areas of Kurdiumivka and Chasiv Yar.

  • Toretsk direction:

    • The Russian forces launched six attacks on defense positions, focusing on Dachne, Toretsk, Krymske, and in the direction of Diliivka. Fighting continues.

  • Pokrovsk direction:

    • Enemy units attempted to break through our defenses 51 times near the settlements of Stara Mykolaivka, Tarasivka, Shevchenko, Yelyzavetivka, Novotoretske, Lysivka, Uspenivka, Kotliarivka, Troitske, Nadiivka, and Andriivka. Nine engagements are still ongoing.

    • The enemy has suffered significant losses – today, Ukrainian forces eliminated 359 soldiers, 179 of whom were killed. Additionally, one armored combat vehicle, a BM-21 rocket system, 19 vehicles, nine motorcycles, a mortar, a relay station, a satellite communication terminal, and 16 UAVs were destroyed. A tank, three vehicles, and a motorcycle of the enemy were also damaged.

  • Novopavlivka direction:

    • The enemy attacked 12 times near Kostiantynopol, Burlatske, Pryvilne, Rivnopil, and in the direction of Odradne. All enemy attacks were successfully repelled.

  • Prydniprovskyi direction:

    • The enemy conducted one offensive action but was unsuccessful.

  • Kursk direction:

    • Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 15 attacks by Russian invaders, with six engagements still ongoing.

    • The enemy conducted:

      • 7 airstrikes using 18 guided bombs

      • 220 artillery shellings of positions and populated areas, including 2 from multiple rocket launch systems.

Russia's losses in the war

According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost more than 950,000 military personnel.

  • Over the past day, the Russian army lost 1,060 soldiers.

  • Ukrainian fighters also destroyed 5 tanks, 14 armored combat vehicles, 42 artillery systems, and other enemy equipment.
