Since the beginning of the day, 92 combat engagements have taken place along the entire frontline. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel Russia's attempts to advance into the depths of our territory, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, today, Russian troops launched a missile and 77 air strikes, using 2 missiles and dropping 128 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, Russians used over a thousand kamikaze drones and fired more than 4,700 rounds at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas.
Frontlines
In the Kharkiv sector, Russia twice stormed the positions of Ukrainian units near Vovchansk and Zakhidne.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russia conducted offensive actions in Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, Bohuslavka, and Zahryzove. Ukrainian defenders stopped all 5 Russian attacks.
In the Lyman sector, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 15 times near the settlements of Nadiia, Novoserhiivka, Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Nove, and towards Olhivka and Zelena Dolyna. 3 firefights are still ongoing.
Ukrainian troops repelled 9 Russian attacks in the Siversk sector. The Russians tried to advance in Hryhorivka, Ivan-Daryivka, Vyimka, and Verkhniokamianske.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russia stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders 5 times in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka, and Stupochky.
8 times the Russians advanced on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the Toretsk sector near Toretsk and Leonidivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, since the beginning of the day, Russian occupants have tried to advance 29 times to the positions of Ukrainian troops. Russia attacked in the areas of Oleksandropil, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Preobrazhenka, Troitske, Andriivka, Bohdanivka, and towards Stara Mykolaivka and Serhiivka. Pokrovsk, Dovha Balka, Zoria, Nova Poltavka, Malynivka, Kalynivka, Shevchenko Pershe and Hrodivka were hit by Russian air strikes.
According to preliminary data, 138 occupants were neutralized in this area today, 67 of them were irrevocably eliminated. Ukrainian troops also destroyed seven vehicles, four motorcycles, 6 drones, and 2 cannons. In addition, one tank, two armored personnel carriers, two motorcycles, and two Russian vehicles were damaged.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Russia tried to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops 15 times in the areas of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Bahatyry, and Pryvilne. 2 firefights are still ongoing. Russian aircraft attacked the areas of Zelene Pole, Komyshuvakha, Novodarivka, and Verbove.
In the Huliaipole sector, Russia attacked Zaliznychne and Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russia attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 6 times in the direction of Lobkove, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Stepove, and Kamianske. Lukianivske, Stepnohirsk, and Kamianske were subjected to Russian air strikes. Fighting continues in 4 locations.
The enemy conducted three offensives in the Dnipro sector, one of which is still ongoing. At the same time, it launched air strikes with guided bombs on Kherson.
Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian troops have repelled 10 Russian assaults in the Kursk region. In addition, Russia launched 19 air strikes, dropping 32 guided bombs, and fired 308 times at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities, including 16 times from multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past day, Russian army losses amounted to 1,050 soldiers. Also yesterday, Ukrainian troops destroyed 9 Russian tanks, 13 armored combat vehicles, 87 artillery systems, 146 drones, and other Russian equipment.
