Russia's losses in Ukraine as of April 16: Over 1,000 troops

Over the past day, from April 15 to 16, Russian forces lost 1,050 soldiers on the front line. Ukrainian forces also destroyed more than a hundred drones and vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to April 16, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 936,210 (+1,050) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 10,638 (+9);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 22,163 (+13);
- artillery systems - 26,377 (+87);
- MLRS - 1,364 ;
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,132;
- aircraft - 370;
- helicopters - 335;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 32,837 (+146)
- cruise missiles - 3,145;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 44,472 (+133);
- special equipment - 3,804 (+3).
