Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of April 1

Over 200 combat clashes occurred on the frontline in the past day, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
Over the past day, 216 combat clashes have been recorded on the frontline. The enemy launched two missile strikes and 99 airstrikes on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.
In total, the enemy used three missiles, dropped 169 guided aerial bombs (GAB), and carried out over 5,200 shelling attacks, including 124 from multiple-launch rocket systems. Additionally, 2,223 kamikaze drones were used in attacks.
Frontline situation
Kharkiv direction: Ukrainian forces repelled seven attacks near Vovchansk.
Kupiansk direction: Nine enemy attacks were recorded near the villages of Pishchane, Nova Kruhliakivka, Petropavlivka, Zahryzove, and Stepova Novoselivka.
Lyman direction: Russian forces attempted 26 assaults, trying to advance near the villages of Nadiia, Dibrova, Kolodiazi, and in the directions of Nove, Serebrianka, Torske, Zelena Dolyna, and Novomykhailivka.
Siversk direction: Three enemy attacks occurred near Ivano-Dariivka and Bilohorivka.
Kramatorsk direction: Seven combat clashes were reported, particularly in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Predtechyne settlements.
Toretsk direction: The enemy launched 19 attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
Pokrovsk direction: The heaviest fighting took place here, with 79 enemy attacks recorded in areas such as Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropil, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kalynove, Udachne, Zelene, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Serhiivka, Novoserhiivka, Novooleksandrivka, Uspenivka, Sribne, Kotliarivka, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, Oleksiivka, and in the directions of Troitske and Orikhove settlements.
Novopavlivka direction: 12 enemy attacks were recorded near Kostiantynopil, Burlatske, Dniproenerhiia, and in the direction of Rozlyv.
Huliaipole direction: Ten assaults occurred near the villages of Novosilka, Pryvilne, and in the directions of Vilne Pole and Novopil.
Orikhiv direction: Nine attacks were recorded near Mali Shcherbaky, Lobkove, Shcherbaky, Kamianske, and Novodanylivka settlements.
Prydniprovske direction: The enemy attempted an offensive but failed.
In the Kursk operational zone, Ukrainian forces stopped 27 attacks and repelled 37 airstrikes involving 36 guided bombs. The enemy carried out 266 artillery shellings, including eight from multiple rocket launcher systems.
Enemy losses
Over the past day, Russian occupation forces suffered 1,540 personnel losses. Ukrainian forces also destroyed nine tanks, 37 armored fighting vehicles, 15 artillery systems, 46 operational-tactical UAVs, two missiles, and 53 enemy vehicles.
