Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of March 25

Along the entire frontline, 165 combat engagements were registered yesterday. Russia, using its superiority in manpower, is attacking Ukrainian positions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Yesterday, Russia launched 76 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping 101 drones. In addition, Russia carried out 6,261 attacks, including 142 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2640 kamikaze drones.
Russia carried out air strikes, in particular in the vicinity of populated areas:
- Velykyi Prykil, Myropilske, Prokhody, Petrushivka, Turia, Uhridy, and Krasnopillia in Sumy region;
- Svitlychne, Slatyne in Kharkiv region;
- Pokrovsk, Donetsk region;
- Novodarivka, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Bilohiriia, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia region.
Sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, Russia tried 3 times to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders towards Vovchansk.
6 attacks took place in the Kupiansk sector yesterday. Ukrainian defenders stopped Russia's assault in the areas of Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Zahryzove.
In the Lyman sector, Russians attacked 24 times. They tried to break into the Ukrainian defense near Kolodiazi, Yampolivka, and towards Stepove, Novomykhailivka, Novyi, and Zarichne.
In the Siversk sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 6 offensives near Bilohorivka and in the direction of Verkhniokamianske.
In the Kramatorsk sector, 5 combat clashes were registered yesterday in the area of Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Dyliivka.
In the Toretsk sector, Russia carried out 19 attacks in the vicinity of Toretsk and near Dyliivka, Dachne, and Krymske.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 53 Russian assault actions in the vicinity of Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropil, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka and towards Pokrovsk, Kotliarivka, Bohdanivka and Oleksiivka.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Russia conducted 19 attacks near Kostiantynopil and in the direction of Rozlyv and Vesele.
In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 3 Russian attempts to advance near Novopil and in the direction of Vile Pole.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russia tried twice to advance towards Lobkove without success.
No combat engagements were registered in the Prydniprovskyi sector yesterday.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of Russian offensive groups were detected.
Ukrainian Defense Forces continue operations in the Kursk region. Yesterday, Russia carried out 16 air strikes, dropping 20 drones, and fired 302 times, 7 of which were from multiple rocket launchers. Ukrainian defenders stopped 18 Russian assault operations.
Russian losses
Ukrainian soldiers are inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian occupation forces and are actively undermining Russia's offensive potential in the rear.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit 15 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, one cannon, and a Russian control center.
In total, Russia lost 1,180 invaders over the last day. Ukrainian troops also neutralized 5 Russian tanks, 18 armored combat vehicles, 61 artillery systems, 3 multiple launch rocket systems, 118 operational and tactical drones, 98 vehicles, and a heavy flamethrower system.
