Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of March 3

There were 109 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. Russians were putting the most pressure on the Pokrovsk and Lyman sectors, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Yesterday, the missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit 4 areas of concentration of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment, one radar station and 4 Russian artillery systems,” Ukraine's General Staff writes.
Sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, a combat clash took place near the town of Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk sector, 3 Russian attacks took place in the vicinity of Zahryzove, Petropavlivka and Lozova over the last day.
In the Lyman sector, Russians attacked 15 times near Novyi, Yampolivka, and Novomykhailivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russians attacked 4 times near Chasiv Yar, Hryhorivka, and Oleksandro-Shultyne.
In the Toretsk sector, Russia conducted 14 attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 18 Russian attacks towards the settlements of Tarasivka, Promin, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Kotliarivka, Andriivka, Vodiane Druhe and Ulakly.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 5 Russian attacks in the vicinity of Kostiantynopil, Pryvilne and Skudne.
In the Orikhiv sector, near Nesterianka and Novodanylivka, Russian invaders conducted 2 attacks.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russians stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders 3 times.
Russians did not conduct any offensive actions in the Siversk and Huliaipole sectors.
In the Kursk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 30 Russian attacks yesterday.
Russia's losses in war
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost over 878,000 troops. Over the past day alone, its losses amounted to another 1,350 soldiers. The Ukrainian Defense Forces also destroyed 11 Russian tanks, 16 armored combat vehicles, and 60 artillery systems.
