Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of February 21

Since the beginning of February 21, 53 combat engagements have taken place on the front line. Russian forces continue to exert pressure in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions but carried out airstrikes with unguided rockets on the settlement of Zolochiv.
Our defenders repelled three enemy assaults near Zahryzove in the Kupiansk direction, while one more combat engagement is still ongoing.
The enemy is attacking the areas of Kopanky, Novoliubivka, Terny, and Kolodiazi in the Lyman direction. Four combat engagements in this direction have occurred since the beginning of the day, and two are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces are repelling three enemy attempts to advance near the settlement of Vasiukivka, with battles still ongoing. The Russian troops also carried out airstrikes on Kostiantynivka and Chasiv Yar.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions eight times in the areas of Diliivka and Toretsk, with six engagements still ongoing. Additionally, the enemy launched airstrikes using guided bombs on Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 14 times today in the areas of Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Svyrydonivka, Promin, Pishchane, Serhiivka, Andriivka, and Ulakly. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
In the Novopavlivka direction, three enemy assaults were repelled as the Russian army attempted to breach Ukrainian defensive positions near Kostiantynopil and Burlatske. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
The settlements of Novopil and Huliaipole in the Huliaipole direction were hit by airstrikes with unguided rockets.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions twice in the directions of Shcherbaky and Piatykhatky.
In the Siversk and Prydniprovskyi directions, the enemy did not conduct active operations.
In the Kursk direction, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian defenders eight times and launched 11 airstrikes, dropping 15 guided aerial bombs (KABs). Additionally, they carried out 268 artillery strikes, including three from multiple launch rocket systems.
Russian losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost over 864,000 personnel.
In the past day alone, Russian army losses amounted to 1,280 soldiers. Additionally, yesterday, the Defense Forces destroyed 12 tanks, 18 armored combat vehicles, 52 artillery systems, and other enemy equipment.
