Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of February 6

As of the evening of February 6, there were 89 combat engagements on the front line. The situation remained most intense today in the Pokrovsk direction, reportsf the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, Russian forces launched three missile strikes and 65 airstrikes, using four missiles and 65 guided bombs. Additionally, the Russian troops deployed 1,105 kamikaze drones and conducted over 4,000 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and civilian settlements.
In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian forces repelled one enemy attack near Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out five assaults on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Lozova, Nova Kruhlyakivka, Petropavlivka, and Zahryzove. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled all enemy attacks.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 18 times throughout the day near Zelenyi Hai, Kopanky, Novoserhiivka, Hrekivka, Nove, Zelena Dolyna, Novoliubivka, Katerynivka, Yampilivka, Terny, and Kolodiazi.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy made two attempts during the day to advance on the positions of our units near Bilohorivka. At the same time, they dropped two aerial bombs on Siversk and Zvanivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, two combat engagements near Chasiv Yar were recorded and are ongoing. The enemy attacked Bondarne using guided aerial bombs.
In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces attacked the positions of the defense forces 13 times. The occupiers concentrated their main offensive efforts near Dyliivka and Toretsk. Four combat engagements are currently ongoing.
Since the beginning of the day, in the Pokrovsk direction, invading units have attempted to breach our defenses 28 times near the settlements of Zelene Pole, Novotoretske, Pokrovsk, Pishchane, Udachne, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Kotliarivka, Uspenivka, Dachne, Andriivka, and Shevchenko. Currently, three combat engagements are ongoing. Two guided aerial bombs hit the settlement of Novooleksandrivka.
The enemy is suffering significant losses. Today, Ukrainian forces neutralized 148 Russian soldiers in this direction, 81 of whom were irrecoverable. Additionally, one tank, eight vehicles, a drone control antenna, and one artillery system were destroyed. A tank, a multipurpose transporter, a self-propelled howitzer, and an enemy cannon were also damaged.
Today, in the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy launched seven attacks near Lysivka, Kostiantynopil, and Rozdolne, but were unsuccessful. They carried out airstrikes with unguided rockets on the settlement of Novosilka and dropped two guided bombs near Odradne.
In the Orikhiv, Hulyaipole, and Prydniprovskyi directions, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
In the Kursk direction, five combat engagements have occurred since the beginning of the day.
Russia's losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia's losses in manpower have exceeded 845,000 soldiers.
In particular, over the past day, the Defense Forces eliminated an additional 1,240 Russian soldiers and destroyed 18 tanks, 16 armored fighting vehicles, 46 artillery systems, and other enemy equipment.
