Russia's losses in Ukraine as of February 6: +1,200 troops and record amount of equipment

During the 24 hours from February 5 to 6, Russian forces lost 1,240 soldiers, 2 anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 46 artillery systems on the frontlines of the war with Ukraine, according to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to February 6, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 845 310 (+1240) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 9965 (+18);
- armored personnel vehicle - 20 737 (+16).
- artillery systems - 22 753 (+46);
- MLRS - 1271 (+2);
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1055 (+2);
- aircraft - 369;
- helicopters - 331;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 24 185 (+83);
- cruise missiles - 3,054;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 36 211 (+133);
- special equipment - 3737 (+2).
Situation at front and Russian drone attack
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian forces have made progress near Pokrovsk, while Russian forces achieved success in four other areas.
During the night, the invaders once again launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine using Shahed-type kamikaze drones.
In particular, the Russian army targeted Kharkiv with a strike drone, damaging a company and the city's largest market.
