Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of February 6

Over the last day, February 5, 90 combat engagements took place in the frontline. The largest number of engagements continues to be recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 19 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, one control point, an artillery unit, and an electronic warfare station of the Russian invaders,” the General Staff writes.
Situation at front
In the Kharkiv sector, 4 Russian attacks were repelled in the areas of Vovchansk and Kozacha Lopan.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russians attacked 8 times near the settlements of Zahryzove, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Nova Kruhliakivka.
In the Lyman sector, Russians tried to advance 11 times near Novoliubivka, Kopanky, Zelenyi Hai, Hrekivka, Novoiehorivka, Yampolivka, Kolodiazy and Torske.
In the Siversk sector, Russians attacked Ukrainian defenders' positions 9 times in the areas of Spirne, Siversk, and Verkhniokamianske.
In the Kramatorsk sector, 3 combat clashes took place in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, 9 Russian attacks were repelled near Toretsk, Dyliivka, and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 24 Russian attacks were stopped in the areas of Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Tarasivka, Udachne, Nadiivka, Promin, Pishchane, Dachne and Ulakly.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Russia conducted 3 attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions near Kostiantynopil.
In the Huliaipole sector, 2 Russian attacks towards Novopil were repelled.
In the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 9 Russian attacks.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian losses in manpower have exceeded 845,000 units. Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,240 Russian troops and destroyed 18 tanks, 16 armored combat vehicles, and 46 artillery systems.
