Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of February 2

Over the past 24 hours, on February 1, there were 110 combat encounters on the front lines. The heaviest fighting was reported near Pokrovsk, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past 24 hours, aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 13 areas of Russian personnel and equipment concentration, as well as two command posts of the Russian invaders.
Situation on the fronts
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions over the past day.
In the Kupiansk direction, 17 attacks were carried out by the occupiers, which the Defense Forces repelled in the areas of the settlements of Topoli, Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novosilka, Hlushkivka, Zahryzove, and Lozova.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched 15 attacks, attempting to advance near Novoehorivka, Terny, Yampolivka, Kolodiazi, Torsk, and in the direction of Novomykhailivka.
In the Siversk direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks near Verkhniokamianske and Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, seven clashes were recorded in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted seven attacks near Toretsk and Krymske.
In the Pokrovsk direction, defenders stopped 40 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Zelene Pole, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Zviriv, Udachne, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Sribne, and Datchne.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the invaders carried out two attacks on the positions of Ukrainian forces, attempting to advance toward Kostyantynopil and Rozlyv.
In the Huliaipole direction, the aggressor made two attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Novosilka.
In the Orikhiv direction, two clashes took place near Shcherbaky and Nesterianka.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian invaders unsuccessfully stormed Ukrainian positions once.
In the operational zone in the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled eight attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. Additionally, the enemy carried out 19 airstrikes, using 24 guided bombs, and conducted 351 artillery shellings (including five with MLRS).
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive group formation were detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is actively using artillery and strike UAVs against peaceful Ukrainian cities and villages from the territory of Russia.
As a reminder, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 1,320 invaders and dozens of Russian military vehicles were eliminated on the frontlines in the past day. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost 840,000 soldiers.
