Between February 1 and February 2, Russian forces lost 1,320 soldiers, 6 tanks, and 45 artillery systems in the conflict with Ukraine, according to data provided by the Ukrainian General Staff.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to February 2, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 840 360 (+1320) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 9908 (+6) units;
  • armored personnel vehicle - 20 667 (+14) units;
  • artillery systems - 22 538 (+45) units;
  • MLRS - 1267 (+1) units;
  • anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,050 units;
  • aircraft - 369 units;
  • helicopters - 331 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 23 793 (+99) units;
  • cruise missiles - 3,054 units;
  • warships/boats - 28 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 35 709 (+80) units;
  • special equipment - 3729 (+2) units.

Situation on the front line and Russian missile attack

According to the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian forces have made gains on three fronts, while Ukrainian troops advanced near Toretsk in the Donetsk region.

During the night, the aggressor once again attacked Ukraine with Shahed strike drones.

One of the enemy drones targeted Kharkiv, sparking a fire at a civilian enterprise.
