Over the last day, 189 combat engagements were registered along the entire frontline. The situation remains difficult, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia, using its superiority in manpower and equipment, is continuously attacking the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the Russian occupiers, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
According to the updated information, yesterday Russians launched one missile attack on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using one missile, as well as 40 air strikes, dropping 59 drones. In addition, Russians carried out over 5,000 attacks, including 114 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,832 kamikaze drones to attack.
Russians conducted air strikes in the areas of Oleksandrivka and Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy region; Hremiach, Mykhalchyna Sloboda, Kuty Pershi in Chernihiv region; Vovchanski Khutory, Vovchansk in Kharkiv region; Troitske, Oleksiivka, Novopil and Rozlyv in Donetsk region.
Sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, with the support of aviation, Russia tried 3 times to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders near Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russia attacked 13 times yesterday. Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian assaults near Stroivka, Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Kutkivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and Lozova.
In the Lyman sector, Russians attacked 17 times. They tried to break into the Ukrainian defense near Novoiehorivka, Nadiia, Novoserhiyivka, Pershotravneve, Zelenyi Hai, Makiivka, Novosadove, Zarichne, Kolodiazi, Zelena Dolyna, Terny and in Serebryanskyi forest.
In the Siversk sector, Russians conducted offensives in the areas of Ivano-Daryivka and Verkhniokamianske, repelling 2 attacks in total.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian occupants attacked 7 times in the area of Chasiv Yar and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk sector, Russia carried out 19 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk, Dyliivka, and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 89 Russian attacks towards Zelene Pole, Oleksandropil, Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Shevchenko, Udachne, Uspenivka, Kotlyne, Nadiivka, Novotroitske, Novoandriivka, Slovianka, Petropavlivka, Andriivka, Dachne, Ulakly and Yantarne.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Russians conducted 16 attacks in the direction of Kostiantynopil and Velyka Novosilka over the past day. Moreover, Russians actively used aviation in the area.
In the Orikhiv sector, the occupation forces stormed the positions of the Defense Forces once near Novoandriivka.
Ukrainian Defense Forces are making efforts to prevent the Russian troops from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory, successfully repelling 2 Russian offensives in the Prydniprovskyi sector.
Russia did not conduct any active operations in the Huliaipole sector yesterday.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of Russian offensive groups were detected.
Ukrainian Defense Forces continue operations in the Kursk region. Yesterday, Russia carried out 12 air strikes, dropped 16 drones, and fired 416 times. Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 Russian attacks.
Russian losses
Ukrainian soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine Russia's offensive potential in the rear.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit 5 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment and 2 Russian air defense facilities.
In total, the losses of Russian invaders amounted to 1,690 troops over the past day. Ukrainian troops also neutralized 10 tanks, 42 armored combat vehicles, 19 artillery systems, 3 air defense systems, 153 operational and tactical drones, 87 vehicles, and 6 units of Russian special equipment.
