Since the beginning of the day, 97 combat engagements have taken place on the frontline. The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk direction, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 27 enemy attacks, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk. Fighting is currently ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces launched four attacks near Holubivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Kruhliakivka, with two clashes still underway.

In the Lyman direction, throughout the day, the Russian forces carried out 11 attacks near Kopanky, Tverdokhlibove, Makiivka, and Terny. Five engagements are ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy attempted an attack toward Bilohorivka but was repelled.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy is advancing near Chasiv Yar and toward Stupochky and Bila Hora. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 8 out of 16 attacks, with fighting continuing.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy is trying to break into the position of Ukrainian defenses near Toretsk, Dyliivka, Krymske, and Shcherbynivka. Five attacks are ongoing, while seven assaults have already been repelled.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the start of the day, Russian army attempted 41 offensives to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from positions in the areas of Zelenyi Hai, Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Shevchenko, Zvirove, Udachne, Uspenivka, Sribne, Dachne, Ulakly, and Yantarne. Ukrainian forces have repelled 27 of these attacks, while 14 clashes continue.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy attempted one unsuccessful attack on Ukrainian defenders.

Kursk region operation: Ukrainian troops repelled six enemy attacks today, with four clashes still ongoing.

Russia's losses in the war

According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine, Russia has lost more than 815,000 military personnel.

In particular, over the past day, Ukrainian defenders killed 1,670 Russian soldiers. Also yesterday, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 12 tanks, 13 armored combat vehicles, 4 artillery systems, 63 drones, and other enemy equipment.
