Over the last day, December 25, 217 combat engagements took place in the frontline. Russia attacked the Pokrovsk sector the most, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Over the past day, missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit the enemy's control center and drone control center,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine writes.
Sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, Russians attacked 3 times in the area of Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russia attacked 7 times near Dvorichna, Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, and Lozova. Russia is trying to realize its numerical superiority.
In the Lyman sector, Russians attacked 26 times near Novoiehorivka, Kopanky, Zelenyi Hai, Makiivka, Terny, Yampolivka, Serebrianske forest,ry and in the direction of Druzheliubivka.
In the Siversk sector, 2 Russian attacks were repelled in the area of Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russians attacked 11 times in the vicinity of Stupochky, Chasiv Yar, and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk sector, 13 Russian attacks were repelled near Toretsk, Dyliivka and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 57 Russian attacks were repelled in the direction of Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachanske, Pokrovsk and other localities.
Russia attacked the Kurakhove sector 31 times. Russian occupants tried to advance most actively in the areas of Petropavlivka, Slovianka, Yasenove, Kurakhove, Andriivka, and Dachne.
In the Vremivka sector, Russians conducted 35 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynopol, Yantarne, Kostiantynopol, Rozlyv, Velyka Novosilka, Novosilka, Blahodatne and Vremivka.
In the Huliaipole sector, Russia tried to break through the defense once.
In the Orikhiv sector, 2 Russian attacks were repelled near Novodanylivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russia attacked 3 times.
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 26 Russian assaults, and one battle is still ongoing.

Over the past day, Russia's losses amounted to 1,540 troops. The Ukrainian Defense Forces also destroyed 2 Russian tanks, 10 armored combat vehicles, 24 artillery systems, 1 air defense system, and more.
