Russian forces persist in their attempts to breach the defenses of Ukrainian troops, suffering heavy losses in manpower, particularly along the Pokrovsk direction, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the day, Ukraine has recorded 190 combat engagements.

Russian forces have launched 31 airstrikes, deployed 61 guided aerial bombs, and utilized 568 kamikaze drones. Additionally, the enemy conducted 3,194 shelling attacks targeting Ukrainian military positions and civilian settlements.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces launched five assaults on Ukrainian positions today. Preliminary estimates indicate enemy losses in this sector amount to 92 personnel killed and wounded. Ukrainian forces destroyed an artillery system, a vehicle, and 20 enemy drones.

In the Kupiansk direction, seven enemy assaults were recorded.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attempted to advance 21 times, but Ukrainian defenders were holding their ground.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled six enemy attempts to push forward.

In the Toretsk direction, the Russian army launched four attacks near Toretsk, with two ongoing clashes.

Intense fighting persists in the Pokrovsk direction, where the number of engagements has risen to 46. Ukrainian defenders have repelled 43 attacks, while three battles remain active. Preliminary estimates indicate the enemy has suffered 288 casualties, including killed and wounded. Ukrainian forces have also destroyed four vehicles and two motorcycles, with two more vehicles and two motorcycles damaged.

In the Kurakhove direction, 46 engagements of varying intensity have been recorded, with battles continuing.

In the Vremivka direction, the aggressor, supported by aviation, launched 30 assaults on the front lines of Ukraine's defense today. One battle is ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, there was one unsuccessful attempt by the enemy to attack Ukrainian positions.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, two enemy attempts to assault Ukrainian positions failed.

In the Kursk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 enemy assaults, with two clashes still ongoing.

Earlier, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the situation in the Pokrovsk direction remains difficult. However, the enemy continues to suffer significant losses.
