Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of December 3

As of the evening of December 3, there were 180 battles on the frontlines. The enemy is concentrating its main offensive efforts on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions while actively attacking in the Vremivka and Kupiansk directions, reports the General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Russian shelling
Today, Russia launched 42 airstrikes, dropping 47 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the Russian army deployed 650 kamikaze drones and carried out nearly 4,000 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and civilian areas.
Frontline situation
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces attempted to storm Ukrainian positions six times in the areas of Vovchansk, Hlyboke, and Kozacha Lopan direction, all without success.
Today, the Russian army lost 58 soldiers killed and wounded, as well as two vehicles destroyed. Ukrainian forces also downed seven drones, and damaged a tank, two artillery systems, and three vehicles of the enemy.
The enemy launched 16 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Kupiansk direction. Near Lozova, Stelmakhivka, Kolisnykivka, and Pervomaiske, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled ten assaults. Six battles are ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, today Russian forces launched nine attacks on Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Pervomaiske, Novoiehorivka, Hrekivka, Yampilivka, and Terny.
Ukrainian units repelled three assaults in the Kramatorsk direction, where the enemy attempted to advance toward Stupochky, Bila Hora, and the area of Chasiv Yar. Russian aviation struck Kostiantynivka.
In Toretsk and Nelipivka, the enemy attempted three times to improve its position in the Toretsk direction, but all attacks were repelled by Ukrainian Defense Forces.
In the Pokrovsk direction, today the enemy launched 44 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Promin, Dachenske, Chumatske, and Novopustynka. Six battles are still ongoing.
Today, the Russian army suffered 395 casualties, both killed and wounded, in this direction. Ukrainian forces destroyed seven armored fighting vehicles, two artillery systems, three motorcycles, and one vehicle. Additionally, significant damage was inflicted on an enemy armored vehicle, artillery system, and tank.
In the Kurakhove direction, 38 enemy attacks have been recorded so far today, with four of them still ongoing. The majority of the fighting is taking place near Sontsivka, Zoria, Dalne, Kurakhove, Yelyzavetivka, and Hannivka.
Today, the enemy launched 23 assaults on the frontline of our defense in the areas of Kostiantynopol, Sukhi Yaly, Rozdilne, Makarivka, and Novodarivka in the Vremivka direction. Six battles are still ongoing.
The enemy carried out four attacks in the areas of Robotyne, Novodanilivka, and Novoandriivka in the Orikhiv direction, all of which were repelled by Ukrainian defenders.
Five attempts to attack Ukrainian positions in the Prydniprovskyi direction were unsuccessful.
Ukrainian Defense Forces also continue operations in the Kursk region, where our troops repelled 20 enemy attacks, with six battles still ongoing.
Russia's losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost over 745,000 personnel.
In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian Defense Forces have eliminated an additional 1,780 Russian soldiers, as well as destroyed 8 tanks, 22 armored fighting vehicles, 23 artillery systems, and other enemy equipment.
