Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of December 3

Since the beginning of the day on December 3, 125 combat engagements have taken place on the front line. The enemy is most active in the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions, where nearly half of all attacks were carried out, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Today, in the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops attempted to conduct offensive actions near Vovchansk, Hlyboke, and in the direction of Kozacha Lopan five times, but they were repelled. Enemy aviation struck with guided aerial bombs (KABs) on Odnorobivka, Vysoka Yaruza, and Hlyboke.
The enemy attacked our positions once in the Kupiansk direction. Ukrainian defenders repelled the enemy assault near Kolisnykivka.
In the Lyman direction, enemy units continue to attack in the areas of the settlements of Pershotravneve, Novoiehorivka, Hrekivka, Yampolivka, and Terny. Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian forces have already repelled four of eight enemy attacks on this front. Fighting is ongoing.
Currently, in the Toretsk direction, two enemy attacks have taken place. The enemy is active in the Toretsk area. Our defenders are providing strong resistance, one attack has been stopped, and the battle continues.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the Russian forces have launched 28 attacks on our defenders' positions in the areas of Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Promen, Dachenske, Chumatske, and Novopustynka. The defense forces, while holding back the enemy's advance, have repelled 24 attacks. Four combat engagements are ongoing. The enemy dropped bombs on Myrnohrad.
The hottest area today is the Kurakhove direction, where there have been 30 combat engagements so far. The invaders are attempting to advance most actively in the areas of Sontsivka, Zoria, Dalne, Kurakhove, Yelyzavetivka, and Hannivka. Thirteen engagements are still ongoing. Ulakly and Dachne have been hit by Russian guided aerial bombs.
In the Vremivka direction, the invaders have attempted to attack Ukrainian positions 14 times near Kostiantynopol, Sukhi Yaly, Rozdilne, and Novodariivka, with two combat engagements still ongoing.
The enemy conducted offensive actions in the areas of Robotyne, Novodanylivka, and Novoandriivka in the Orikhiv direction, with one battle still ongoing.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the Russian army made five unsuccessful attempts to attack Ukrainian military positions.
In the Kursk region, our defenders repelled 17 enemy attacks today, with nine combat engagements still ongoing.
Russia's losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has lost over 745,000 personnel.
In particular, over the past day, the Defense Forces eliminated another 1,780 Russian soldiers, as well as destroyed 8 tanks, 22 armored fighting vehicles, 23 artillery systems, and other enemy equipment.
