Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of December 3
Over the past day, December 2, 201 combat engagements took place in the frontline. Half of the fighting was registered in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Over the past 24 hours, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit six areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment,” Ukraine's General Staff writes.
Sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, Russia attacked 8 times in Vovchansk and Starytsia.
In the Kupiansk sector, the Russians conducted 7 assault operations near Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Zelenyi Hai, Kolisnykivka, and Lozova.
In the Lyman sector, 11 Russian attacks were repelled near Hrekivka, Cherneshchyna, Kopanka, Yampolivka and Terny.
In the Siversk sector, the Russian attack near Bilohorivka was repelled.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russians attacked 4 times in the vicinity of Hryhorivka and Chasiv Yar.
In the Toretsk sector, 9 Russian attacks were repelled near Toretsk, Nelipivka, and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 40 Russian offensives were stopped in the area of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Krasnyi Yar, Dachanske, Zhovte, Chumatske and Novyi Trud.
In the Kurakhove sector, 67 Russian attacks were repelled. Russian occupants were most actively trying to advance in the areas of Berestky, Stari Terny, Sontsivka, Novodmytrivka, and beyond.
In the Vremivka sector, Russia carried out 30 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynopolske, Rozdolne, Velyka Novosilka, Novoandriivka, Novosilka, and Novopil.
3 Russian attacks were repelled in the Prydniprovskyi sector.
In the Kurakhove sector, 15 firefights took place.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost more than 745,000 manpower. Over the past 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,780 Russian troops and destroyed 8 tanks, 22 armored combat vehicles, 23 artillery systems, and more.
