Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 29

As of the evening of November 29, 172 combat engagements took place along the front line. The situation remains tense in the Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, and Vremivka directions, where Russian forces focus their primary offensive efforts, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
Today, Russia launched a missile strike using one missile, carried out 31 airstrikes, and dropped 53 guided aerial bombs.
Additionally, the Russian army deployed 581 kamikaze drones and conducted more than 3,000 shelling attacks targeting Ukrainian positions and civilian settlements.
Frontline situation
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces launched five assaults on Ukrainian positions near Kudiivka, Vovchansk, and Tykhe. Two clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked seven times. Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled all assaults near Kolisnykivka, Lozova, Pershotravneve, and Zelenyi Hai.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops carried out 20 attacks today in the areas of Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, Terny, Yampilivka, Dibrova, Torske, Zarichne, Hryhorivka, and within the Serebrianske Forestry. Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 of these assaults, while two engagements continued.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian forces thwarted three attempts by Russian troops to capture positions near Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces attempted to advance near Druzhba and Toretsk but were repelled.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian army launched 34 attacks throughout the day on Ukrainian positions near Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Chumatske, Novyi Trud, and Zhovte. Ten clashes are still ongoing.
Russian losses amounted to 497 personnel killed or wounded. Ukrainian forces also destroyed four armored combat vehicles, an artillery system, three drone control points, and 12 enemy vehicles. Additionally, two vehicles and two artillery systems were damaged.
In the Kurakhove direction, Russian forces have made 43 attempts to advance so far today, with 11 assaults still ongoing. Fighting is concentrated near Sontsivka, Berestky, Novodmytrivka, Zoria, Kurakhove, Dachne, Dalne, Yelyzavetivka, Hannivka, and Uspenivka.
In the Vremivka direction, the Russian army launched 24 assaults on the front lines near Veselyi Hai, Kostyantynopilske, Sukhi Yaly, Rozdolne, and Novodarivka. Three engagements are currently ongoing.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy made three unsuccessful attempts to breach Ukrainian positions.
Ukrainian Defense Forces are also continuing operations in the Kursk direction, repelling 22 attacks from Russian forces today.
Russia's losses in war
According to the General Staff, Russia’s total losses since the start of its full-scale invasion have surpassed 736,000 personnel.
In the past 24 hours alone, Ukrainian forces eliminated 1,220 Russian soldiers. Additionally, they destroyed one tank, two armored combat vehicles, 22 artillery systems, 45 drones, and other enemy equipment.
