Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 29
Over the past day, 207 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines. The most intense fighting took place in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian forces carried out 95 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian defenders and civilian settlements, using 111 missiles, 67 guided bombs, and over 1,700 kamikaze drones. The total number of attacks exceeded 4,800, including 126 from multiple rocket launcher systems.
Operational situation on key fronts
- Kharkiv direction: Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 enemy attacks near Vovchansk, Tykhe, and Hlyboke. Russian aviation struck Lyptsi and Neskuchne.
- Kupiansk direction: There were 25 combat clashes, with enemy attacks stopped near Fyholivka, Kolisnykivka, Raihorodka, and other settlements. Russian forces launched an airstrike with three KAB (aerial guided) bombs on Kupiansk.
- Lyman direction: Six enemy attacks were repelled near Tverdokhlibove, Hrekivka, and other settlements. The areas of Ivanivka and Serebryanskyi Forestry were attacked.
- Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions: Ukrainian troops repelled 10 attacks near Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, Toretsk, and Shcherbynivka.
- Pokrovsk direction: The enemy attempted 61 breakthroughs, particularly near Myroliubivka, Lysivka, and Dachenske.
- Kurakhove direction: Russian occupiers made 43 attempts to breach defenses near Sonivka, Kurakhove, and Yelyzavetivka.
- Vremivka direction: Twenty attacks were recorded, including near Trudove, Veselyi Hai, and Novodarivka.
- Orikhiv and Hulyaipole directions: The enemy did not conduct active combat but launched a missile strike near Novooleksandrivka.
Other directions
The situation remains unchanged in the Volyn and Polissia directions. On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy continues shelling and reconnaissance using kamikaze drones and guided bombs.
Aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces conducted nine strikes on enemy troop concentrations. According to available information, the occupiers also carried out 19 airstrikes on their territory in Russia’s Kursk region.
Russian losses in the war
According to the General Staff, total Russian losses since the start of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 736,000 personnel. Over the past day, Ukrainian forces eliminated 1,220 Russian occupiers.
