Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 28

Since the beginning of the day, 80 battles have taken place on the front lines. The main efforts of the Russian forces are focused on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, where more than half of all attacks have occurred. They are also active in the Lyman, Kupiansk, and Vremivka directions, according to the Ukrainian General Staff.
In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian army launched eight assaults on our positions near Vovchansk, Tykhe, and Hlyboke. The situation is under control.
The enemy launched nine attacks on our positions in the Kupiansk direction. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled enemy assaults in the areas of Holubivka, Kindrashivka, Zelenyi Hai, Raihorodka, Lozova, and Kruhlyakivka. Currently, fighting is ongoing in three locations.
In the Lyman direction, enemy units attacked the areas of Tverdokhlibove, Hrekivka, Pershotravneve, Yampolivka, and Terny. Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks, and five clashes are ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes with three KABs (aerial guided bombs) on the Zakitne area.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian forces launched three assaults near Bila Hora and Stupochky. One of the attacks is still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian defenders are repelling three enemy attacks near Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has made 31 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Krutyi Yar, Dachenky, Zhovte, Chumatske, Novyi Trud, and Pustynka. The defense forces have repelled 21 enemy attacks in total on this front.
In the Kurakhove direction, the invaders launched 31 attacks on our units, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Sonstivka, Berestky, Novodymytrivka, Kurakhove, Dalne, Yelizavetivka, Romanyvka, Antonivka, and Hnativka. Eight clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Vremivka direction, the invaders launched 14 attacks on Ukrainian military positions near Trudove, Veselyi Hai, Kostiantynopil, Rozdolne, Sukhi Yaly, and Novodarivka. Seven clashes are still ongoing.
In the Orikhiv and Huliaipole directions, the enemy did not carry out active actions.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the Russian army made two unsuccessful assaults on Ukrainian positions.
Russia's losses in the war
According to the General Staff, the total losses of Russia since the beginning of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 736,000 personnel.
In particular, over the past day, Ukrainian forces eliminated 1,220 Russian soldiers. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed one tank, two armored combat vehicles, 22 artillery systems, and other enemy equipment yesterday.
