Over the last day, November 18, 143 combat engagements were registered. The enemy put the most pressure on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Yesterday, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces conducted nine strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian personnel and weapons, as well as hit the drone control center, artillery system, two logistics depots, the Zhytel electronic warfare station, and two other important enemy targets,” Ukraine's General Staff writes.
Sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, 6 Russian attacks near Vovchansk were repelled.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russia attacked 6 times near Kruhliakivka and Lozova.
In the Liman sector, Russians attacked 6 times near Novoliubivka, Torske, and Bilohorivka.
In the Toretsk sector, Russia conducted 4 attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 38 Russian attacks were repelled in the vicinity of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, and other localities.
In the Kurakhove sector, 30 Russian attacks were repelled near Berestky, Sontsivka, Voznesenka, Dalne, Yelyzavetivka, Katerynivka and Antonivka.
In the Vremivka sector, Russians carried out 14 assault actions near Trudove, Rozdolne, Makarivka, Rivne, and Novodarivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, 8 Russian attacks were repelled, and 8 combat engagements with Russians took place in the island zone of the Dnipro Delta.
In the Kursk region, 22 Russian assaults were repelled.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost 724,050 troops. Over the past day alone, November 18, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,610 Russian troops. In particular, they destroyed 17 tanks, 33 armored combat vehicles, and 46 artillery systems.
