Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 13
Over the past day, November 12, there were 162 battles along the front line, with the most intense fighting reported in the Kurakhove direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
"Over the past day, the rocket and artillery forces of the Defense Forces struck 13 areas where enemy weapons and military equipment were concentrated, destroyed two ammunition and fuel depots, four artillery assets, and two other important objects belonging to the Russian invaders," the General Staff reported.
Situation in various directions
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces launched eight assaults on Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 17 enemy attacks near Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Kruhliaivka, and Lozova.
In the Lyman direction, Russian terrorists attacked six times near Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka, and Torske.
In the Siversk direction, an attack near Verkhniokamianske was repelled.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted 11 attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovske direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 28 attacks around Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Hryhorivka, Pustynka, and Novooleksiivka.
In the Kurakhove direction, Russian forces attacked 47 times, including near Illinka, Novoselydivka, Voznesenka, Novodmytrivka, Dalnie, and Antonivka.
In the Vremivka direction, the enemy launched 15 assaults on Ukrainian positions near Trudove, Maksymivka, Makarivka, Rivnopil, and Novodarivka, using assault and bomber aviation extensively for strikes in this direction.
In the Prydniprovske direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions five times but faced strong resistance and sustained losses.
Russian losses in war
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost over 714,000 personnel. In the past day alone, the Defense Forces eliminated an additional 1,770 Russian terrorists and destroyed the following:
- 24 tanks
- 49 armored fighting vehicles
- 56 artillery systems.
