Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 7
Over the past day, November 6, 148 combat engagements were registered. The Russians were most active in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Yesterday, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces conducted seven strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel and weapons, as well as hit two control points and an artillery system,” the General Staff writes.
Situation at the front
In the Kharkiv sector, 6 battles took place between Vovchansk and Starytsia.
In the Kupiansk sector, 12 battles were recorded near Kucherivka, Petropavlivka, and Kruhliakivka.
In the Lyman sector, Russia attacked 10 times near Druzheliubivka, Hrekivka, Torske, Terny, and Dibrova.
In the Siversk sector, 4 Russian attacks were repelled near Bilohorivka and Hryhorivka.
2 firefights took place in the Kramatorsk sector near Chasiv Yar and Klishchiyivka.
In the Toretsk sector, Russia attacked 4 times near Toretsk, Dyliivka, and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 39 Russian attacks in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Novohrodivka, Krutyi Yar, Selydove, Lysivka, and Novooleksiyivka.
In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian positions near Illinka, Kreminna Balka, Novoselydivka, Novodmytrivka, Maksymilianivka, Antonivka, and Katerynivka were attacked 93 times yesterday.
In the Vremivka sector, 6 Russian attacks were repelled near Trudove and Maksymivka.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russia attacked once in the direction of Novoandriivka.
3 Russian attacks were repelled in the Prydniprovskyi sector.
Russia's losses in the war
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost 704,300 military personnel. Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed another 1,400 Russian occupants, 10 tanks, 20 artillery systems, and more.
