As of November 4, 226 combat engagements occurred at the frontline in Ukraine from the beginning of the day until the evening. The highest number of enemy attacks was recorded in the Kurakhove direction, as well as in the Lyman and Pokrovsk directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy shelling

Since the beginning of November 4, Russian forces conducted 11 airstrikes using 28 guided aerial bombs and launched 206 kamikaze drone attacks.

Additionally, Russians carried out nearly 2,400 shellings of Ukrainian forces' positions and populated areas using various types of weaponry.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces launched eight attacks near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 19 enemy assaults. Russian forces were active in the areas of Kindrashivka, Kucherivka, Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Vyshneve, Pishchane, Druzheliubivka, Lozova, and Kruhliakivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 31 times and attempted to advance toward Cherneshchyna, Hrekivka, Kolisnykivka, Katerynivka, Makiivka, Terny, Zarichne, and Torsk.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to attack Ukrainian forces' positions near Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces launched five attacks in Chasiv Yar and Stupochky. Two clashes are still ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attempted to break into Ukrainian forces 7 times, supported by aviation. Throughout the day, Russian forces attacked areas around Dachne, Toretsk, and Shcherbynivka, with one battle still ongoing near Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 21 enemy assaults in Promin, Lysivka, Selydove, Yuriivka, and Vyshneve, with 4 of these clashes still ongoing.

"Our forces are taking measures to hold designated lines and providing a robust response," the General Staff stated.

In this direction, preliminary data indicate that today, the enemy suffered 260 casualties, including killed and wounded. Furthermore, Ukrainian forces destroyed one tank, two armored personnel carriers, two infantry fighting vehicles, and two enemy vehicles while also significantly damaging one artillery piece, one armored personnel carrier, and one vehicle.

In the Kurakhove direction, 84 combat clashes occurred. The enemy maintains activity and attempts to advance toward Vovchenka, Illinka, Kreminna Balka, Hannivka, Kurakhove, Novoselydivka, Novodmytrivka, Hostre, Maksymivka, Antonivka, Dalne, Katerynivka, and Yelyzavetivka.

"According to available information, today, the enemy lost four armored personnel carriers, five infantry fighting vehicles, and one tank in this direction. Additionally, one tank, four armored personnel carriers, two infantry fighting vehicles, and one anti-aircraft system were damaged," the General Staff reported.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy launched 16 attacks near Trudove, Velyka Novosilka, Urozhaine, Rozdolne, Sukhyi Yaliv, and Maksymivka. The Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that all enemy attacks were repelled.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian forces halted six enemy assaults toward Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, and Orikhiv.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, there were no significant changes in the situation, and no losses of positions or territory were reported, according to the General Staff. Here, Ukrainian forces repelled three enemy assaults.

Earlier, on November 4, the military command reported that the enemy was most active in the Kurakhove and Lyman directions.

Additionally, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, from November 3 to 4, Russian forces lost 1,300 soldiers. Thus, the total losses of the Russian army in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 700,000 personnel.
