There were 145 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. Most of the fighting was recorded in the Kurakhove sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past day, the missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a Russian control center, 2 air defense facilities, a cannon at a firing position, 2 field ammunition depots, 3 areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment, and 4 radar stations.
Sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, Russia attacked once near Vovchansk, actively using aviation.
In the Kupiansk sector, 21 Russian attacks took place over the last day. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian assaults near Synkivka, Novoosynove, Kolisnykivka, Pershotravneve, Pishchane, Kruhliakivka, Zelenyi Hai, Vyshneve, Bohuslavka, Petropavlivka, Lozova, Kindrashivka and Zahryzove.
In the Lyman sector, Russia attacked 11 times. Russians tried to advance toward Katerynivka, Hrekivka, Terny, Zarichne, Druzheliubivka, and in the Serebrianske forestry.
In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 2 Russian attacks near Verkhniokamianske and Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops attacked once near Chasiv Yar.
The situation remains tense in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders stopped 28 Russian offensive actions towards the settlements of Myroliubivka, Promin, Myrnohrad, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Novohrodivka, Vyshneve, Krutyi Yar and Selydove.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 41 Russian attacks on positions near Novoselydivka, Novodmytrivka, Illinka, Maksymilianivka, Hostre, Yelizavetivka, Dalne, Antonivka, Kurakhivka, Kreminna Balka, Voznesenka and Katerynivka.
In the Vremivka sector, Russia conducted 8 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Bohoiavlenka, Maksymivka, Trudove, and Novoukrainka. He actively used attack and bomber aircraft to attack the area.
In the Huliaipole sector, Russia conducted a futile attempt to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Charivne.
The situation in the Prydniprovskyi sector remained unchanged. Russia conducted 4 unsuccessful assaults.
In the Orikhiv and Toretsk sectors, Russia did not conduct any assault operations but attacked settlements with attack and bomber aircraft.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russia is actively using artillery and aviation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements from the territory of Russia.
The operation in the Kursk region is ongoing; over the past day, the Russians have struck 19 times with 20 guided aerial bombs and fired 133 artillery rounds at Russian territory.
Enemy losses
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost almost 695,000 soldiers. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian soldiers have eliminated more than 1,300 Russian invaders.
Russia is going to involve North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine. According to the Financial Times, about 3,000 North Korean soldiers have been deployed to the Kursk region. They are located 50 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
According to Ukraine's representative to the UN, the North Korean military will enter the war against Ukraine in November.
