Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of October 30

"Yesterday, the aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces delivered eleven strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment, destroying one artillery system and two other important enemy targets," the General Staff reported.

Situation on the frontlines

• Kharkiv direction: The enemy attacked four times in the areas of Vovchansk and Lyptsi.

• Kupiansk direction: There were 22 attacks by the Russian army over the past day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults toward Synkivka, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, and more.

• Lyman direction: Russia attacked 15 times near the settlements of Hrekivka, Druzheliubivka, Cherneshchyna, Novomykhailivka, Nevske, Terny, Torske, Serebrianka, and Yampolivka.

• Siversk direction: The enemy launched 13 assaults in the areas of Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Zvanivka, and Ivanodarivka.

• Kramatorsk direction: The enemy attacked twice in the vicinity of Stupochky.

• Toretsk direction: The enemy conducted five attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.

• Pokrovsk direction: 43 attacks were repelled toward the settlements of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novohrodivka, Krutyi Yar, and Krasnyi Yar. The enemy exerted the most pressure near the settlement of Promin.

• Kurakhove direction: Defense forces repelled 42 attacks. The enemy concentrated their efforts in the areas of Novoselydivka, Novodmytrivka, Maksymilianivka, Dalne, and Antonivka.

• Vremivka direction: The enemy carried out six assaults near Novoukrainka, Yasna Polyana, and Shakhtarske.

• Prydniprovskyi direction: The Russian forces attacked four times.

Russia's losses in the war

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost over 693,000 personnel. Just in the past day, the Defense Forces eliminated another 1,560 soldiers and destroyed:

• 8 tanks
• 29 armored combat vehicles
• 38 artillery systems, among others.
