Russia's losses in Ukraine as of October 30: +1,560 troops, 40 drones, 38 artillery systems

Over the last 24 hours, from September 29 to 30, Russian losses at the front amounted to 1,560 soldiers. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 40 drones and 91 vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to October 30, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 693,640 (+1,560) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 9137 (+8);
- armored personnel vehicle - 18,433 (+29);
- artillery systems - 19,955 (+38);
- MLRS - 1242 (+1);
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 986 (+2);
- aircraft - 369;
- helicopters - 329;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 17,979 (+40);
- cruise missiles - 2625;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 27,840 (+91);
- special equipment - 3,567 (+1).
According to a report by the American Institute for the Study of War, the pace of the Russian offensive has increased in recent weeks. However, they remain slow and are consistent with a positional war.
The analysts emphasized that Western media comparing Russian offensives at the beginning of the war and now are misleading about the speed of the Russian occupation forces' seizure of new territories.
