From the beginning of the day to the evening, 142 combat engagements occurred at the frontline in Ukraine. The hottest directions remain Pokrovsk and Kurakhove, while enemy activity is also observed in the Kupiansk, Lyman, and Vremivka directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy shelling

Russian forces launched one missile strike and 66 airstrikes on Ukraine throughout the day, employing 140 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, the enemy deployed 762 kamikaze drones.

Furthermore, Russian forces carried out over 3,500 shellings targeting Ukrainian defense positions and civilian settlements.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces launched two attacks near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance 20 times toward Ukrainian positions near Kindrashivka, Synkivka, Kolisnykivka, Kruhliakivka, Lozova, Zahryzove, Pershotravneve, and Vyshneve. Ukrainian troops repelled 17 attacks, and fighting continued.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops attacked 15 times around Cherneshchyna, Novomykhailivka, Makiivka, Terny, Zarichne, Serebrianka, and Hryhorivka. Two battles are still ongoing, while Ukrainian forces halted other attacks.

In the Kramatorsk direction, four battles took place near Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Predtechyne.

In the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled all five attacks near Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, and New York.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces attempted 27 times to breach Ukrainian defenses around Myroliubivka, Promin, Krutyi Yar, Vyshneve, and Selydove but “faced a resolute counteraction from our defenders,” the General Staff highlighted.

The enemy suffers heavy losses – preliminary reports indicate our forces neutralized 189 Russian soldiers in this direction today, with 80 of them irreversibly,” the General Staff reported.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed one tank, three vehicles, and three artillery systems. Four armored combat vehicles were also damaged, including one BMPT Terminator.

In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 36 times. The highest activity was observed near Novoselydivka, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhivka, Maksymilianivka, Antonivka, Kurakhove, and Katerynivka, where Ukrainian forces repelled 32 attacks, with four battles still ongoing.

In the Vremivka direction, Ukrainian troops repelled five enemy assaults near Novoukrainka and Bohoyavlenka while three other attacks continued.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian forces persist in attempts to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions, launching three unsuccessful attacks throughout the day.

As reported earlier, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian forces suffered 1,440 personnel losses over the past day. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed 39 enemy artillery systems and 100 vehicles.

Before that, the military command noted that the highest concentration of enemy attacks was recorded near Selydove.
