Situation in the sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, Russia attacked 9 times near the towns of Vovchansk and Tykhe.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russia attacked 9 times over the last day. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian assaults near Pishchane, Kruhliakivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Lozova, Vyshneve, and Pershotravneve.
Russia attacked the Lyman sector 12 times. Russians tried to break into the Ukrainian defense near Hrekivka, Terny, Novomykhailivka, Torske, and Serebrianka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops attacked 5 times in the areas of Stupochky, Bila Hora, and Hryhorivka.
In the Toretsk sector, Russia conducted 6 attacks in the direction of Toretsk and Nelipivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 38 Russian assaults and offensive actions in the areas of Selydove, Novotoretsk, Lysivka, Sukha Balka, Promin, Sukhyi Yar, Krutyi Yar, Myroliubivka, Krasnyi Yar, and Mykhailivka. The highest concentration of Russian attacks was near Selydove. Russia was actively using bombers and attack aircraft to attack the area.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 34 Russian attacks. Russians were most actively trying to advance near Katerynivka and Kreminna Balka. Russian invaders tried to force the Ukrainian Defense Forces units out of their positions in the Prydniprovskyi sector 4 times.
The operation in the Kursk region continues. Russian aircraft continue to raze villages and towns to the ground. Over the past day, Russian aircraft conducted 38 airstrikes with 55 anti-aircraft missiles on their territory.
No signs of Russian offensive groups forming in the Volyn and Polissia sectors were detected.
On the border with Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions, Russia is actively using artillery and aircraft in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements from the territory of Russia.
Russia's losses
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost over 684,000 soldiers at the front. Over the last day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated another 1,240 Russian troops.
