There were 186 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russians are actively attacking in several directions at once.
Over the past day, the missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a Russian air defense facility, six areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, and one field ammunition depot.
Sectors
Kupiansk. On the last day, Russia attacked 23 times. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian assaults near Petropavlivka, Kucherivka, Kolisnykivka, Kruhliakivka, Miasozharivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, Vyshneve and Lozova.
Lyman. Russia attacked 19 times. Russian troops tried to advance towards Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka, Nevske, Novosadove, and Torske.
Siversk. Ukrainian defenders repelled 3 Russian assaults near Verkhniokamianske, Ivano-Dariivka, and Vyimka.
Kramatorsk. Russian troops attacked 9 times in the areas of Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, and Stupochky.
Toretsk. Russian troops, supported by aviation, carried out 15 attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
Pokrovsk. Ukrainian defenders stopped 36 Russian assaults and offensive actions toward Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Krutyi Yar, Selydove, Novotroitske, Myrnohrad, and Mykhailivka.
Kurakhove. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 47 Russian attacks. Russian troops were most actively trying to advance in the areas of Izmailivka, Hirnyk, Kurakhivka, Zhelannyi Druhyi, Tsukuryno, Novodmytrivka, Novoselydivka, Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Zoriane, Dalne and Antonivka.
Vremivka. Russia conducted 4 assaults on Ukrainian positions in the area of Bohoiavlenka. Russian troops actively used attack and bomber aircraft to attack the area.
Orikhiv. 1 Russian attack was repelled near Robotyne.
Prydniprovskyi. Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions 9 times.
Kursk sector. The operation of Ukrainian forces continues.
Russia's losses
Over the past day, Ukrainian troops eliminated another 1,300 Russian invaders. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has already lost more than 668,000 invaders.
On October 12, information about the alleged destruction of a Russian Su-34 aircraft appeared online. Analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) admit that the Su-34 could have been shot down by an F-16 fighter jet.
