On the last day, 141 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff.

According to the updated data, Russian troops launched 7 missile strikes against Ukrainian positions and civilian objects with 8 missiles. In addition, the Russian occupiers carried out 86 air strikes, dropping 109 guided bombs, as well as more than 4,500 artillery attacks, 131 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

Russian air strikes were recorded in the areas of Andriivka, Obodiv, Katerynivka, Yastrubyne, Pavlivka, and Volfyno in Sumy region; Vovchansk and Kozacha Lopan in the Kharkiv region; Torske, Kostiantynivka, Druzhba, Toretsk and Kramatorsk in Donetsk region, as well as in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

In response, Ukrainian aviation and artillery struck 6 times at the locations where Russian troops were concentrated, hitting a command center, air defense system, special equipment, and artillery systems.

In the Kharkiv sector, there were 6 combat engagements, including near Vovchansk and Starytsia. In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 12 Russian attacks near Kucherivka, Novoosynove, and other localities. In the Lyman sector, 18 Russian attacks were registered, and in the Siversk sector, a Russian attempted assault near Bilohorivka was repelled.

The most intense fighting took place in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian troops repelled 21 Russian assaults. In addition, the Russian occupants conducted 18 attacks in the Kurakhove sector.

Overall, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled attacks in various sectors, including the Vremivka and Prydniprovskyi sectors. The situation in the Huliaipole, Volyn, and Polissia sectors remains unchanged.

Russia continues shelling in the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

Russian losses

Over the past day, Russian troops lost 1,160 soldiers. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 14 Russian tanks, 31 armored vehicles, 64 artillery systems, and 7 multiple-launch rocket systems.
