Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of September 7

In the past 24 hours, on September 6, there were 187 combat clashes on the front line. Notably, the most intense areas were the Pokrovsk and Kurakhiv directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Over the past 24 hours, 187 combat clashes have been recorded. The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhiv directions," the report states.
Situation in various directions
In the Kharkiv direction, six battles took place. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Vovchansk and Lyptsi.
In the Kupiansk direction, 27 clashes occurred, including near Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Andriivka, Berestove, and Stelmakhivka.
In the Lyman direction, according to updated information, the enemy attacked 17 times near Novoyehorivka, Druzheliubivka, Cherneshchyna, Ternivka, Torsk, Dibrova, and Makiivka.
In the Siversk direction, five clashes occurred. Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian attacks near Verkhniokamianske and Spirne.
In the Kramatorsk direction, eight battles took place in the areas of Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, and Andriivka.
In the Toretsk direction, Russians attacked 10 times near Toretsk, Nelipivka, and New York.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 49 enemy assaults in the areas of Sukha Balka, Oleksandropil, Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Novotroitske, Hrodivka, Novohrodivka, and Mykhailivka. The highest concentration of attacks was near Novohrodivka, Hrodivka, and Mykhailivka.
In the Kurakhiv direction, defense forces repelled 46 enemy attacks near Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, and Heorhiivka.
In the Vremivka direction, the enemy launched nine attacks towards Vodiane and Staromaiorske.
In the Orikhiv direction, Russian troops carried out one assault on Ukrainian positions near Mala Tokmachka.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy suffered defeats, attacking Ukrainian defensive positions nine times.
In the Huliaipole direction, the situation remains unchanged.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive group formations have been detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence and carries out mortar and artillery attacks on settlements from Russian territory.
Russian losses in Ukraine
Over the past day, total Russian losses amounted to 1,270 military personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed a tank, 29 artillery systems, one air defense system, 52 tactical-level UAVs, a cruise missile, and 55 vehicles.
Additionally, aviation, rocket troops, and artillery of the defense forces conducted 15 strikes on enemy personnel concentration areas and hit a command post, two UAV command points, two artillery systems, and one other important enemy target.
