Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 165 combat engagements with the Russian occupiers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russia launched 5 missile strikes and 58 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 71 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russia conducted 4,365 attacks, including 135 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Russian air strikes were recorded in the areas of Lyptsi, Kupiansk, Zolochiv (Kharkiv region); Tverdokhlibove, Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka (Donetsk region); and Lobkove (Zaporizhzhia region).

Ukrainian aviation and artillery carried out 9 strikes on Russian positions, destroying four artillery systems, an air defense system, an ammunition depot, and another important Russian facility.

The largest number of combat engagements was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 58 Russian assaults. The highest concentration of Russian attacks was near Vozdvyzhenka and Hrodivka, with the Russians actively using attack and bombing aircraft.

Active hostilities continue in the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Siversk, Kurakhove, Vremivka, and Orikhiv sectors.

There were no signs of enemy offensive groups forming in the Volyn and Polissya directions.

Russia's losses in war against Ukraine

Over the past 24 hours, Russia has lost 1,220 troops in the war against Ukraine. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed an aircraft, 47 artillery systems, and other equipment.
