In the past 24 hours, there have been 101 combat engagements on the front lines as Russia continues its attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses. Ukrainian forces are actively repelling these assaults, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yesterday, the aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted 19 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment, destroying three electronic warfare stations, three radar systems, four artillery systems, two control points, and three observation posts of the Russian invaders.

Situation in the frontlines

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy continued its assault operations, with six combat engagements reported near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, three enemy attacks were recorded. Ukrainian forces repelled assaults near Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and in the direction of Hlushkivka.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled 24 enemy assaults in the areas of Makiivka, Terny, and Nevske.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian defenses repelled 13 attacks near Ivanivka, Spirne, Verkhniokamianske, and Vyimka, with five of those attacks occurring near Viyimka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian soldiers halted ten enemy attempts to breach defenses in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Kalynivka.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, launched nine attacks, focusing on the settlements of Pivnichne, New York, and Toretsk, and also conducted assaults near Zolote.

In the Pokrovsk direction, defenders repelled 29 attacks, with the enemy concentrating its efforts around Panteleimonivka, Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Ivanivka, Zhelanne, Novoselivka Persha, and Yasnobrodivka.

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian forces continue to hold the line in the areas of Krasnohorivka and Kostiantynivka, with the enemy making three attempts to breach defenses in this sector.

In the Vremivka direction, the occupiers launched three attacks on Ukrainian positions near Vodiane and Vuhledar, with no success.

In the Orikhiv direction, one unsuccessful combat engagement occurred near Mala Tokmachka for the enemy.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence and has significantly increased aerial activity, conducting shelling from Russian territory on border settlements.

Russia suffers losses

The Russian army lost more than a thousand more occupants in a day. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed dozens of vehicles.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian defenders have eliminated over 588,000 Russian invaders. Russia is attempting to conceal the losses of its occupying forces.

Additionally, according to Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, Russia plans to increase its military presence in Ukraine to 690,000 troops by the end of the year.
