Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of July 19

There were 130 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. The most active areas of the front remain the Toretsk and Pokrovsk directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Yesterday, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 16 times at Russia's military equipment and manpower, destroying two control points, two air defense facilities, and four radar and electronic warfare stations.
Sectors
Kharkiv sector. Russia continued offensive and assault actions. There were 12 combat engagements in the area. All of them took place in the regions of Hlyboke and Vovchansk. The Russian occupants were actively using bombers to carry out attacks.
Kupiansk sector. The number of attacks amounted to 11 over the last day. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled all Russian assaults near Synkivka, Stelmakhivka, and Berestove.
Lyman sector. The Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped 14 Russian attacks near Makiivka, Nevske, Torske, and Terny.
Siversk sector. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 5 Russian assaults. Russians tried to advance near Pereizne, Spirne, and Vyimka.
Kramatorsk sector. Ukrainian troops stopped 6 Russian attempts to break through the defense. The Russian occupants, supported by aviation, concentrated their main efforts in the area of Chasiv Yar.
Toretsk sector. Russia attacked Ukrainian positions 20 times in the areas of Pivnichne, Toretsk, and New York. Russians attacked Ukraine with guided and unguided aerial missiles.
Pokrovsk sector. Ukrainian soldiers repelled 27 Russian assaults and attacks near the settlements of Vozdvyzhenka, Novoselivka Persha, Novooleksandrivka, Prohres, Umanske, and Yasnobrodivka, where the Russian invaders, with the support of aviation, tried to force the Ukrainian Armed Forces units out of their positions.
Kurakhove sector. Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped Russian attacks near Krasnohorivka and Paraskoviivka, where the Russians tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops 15 times.
Orikhiv sector. There were six combat engagements in Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka, but Russian troops were unsuccessful.
Prydniprovskyi direction. Russia keeps trying to drive Ukrainian units from their positions. Ukrainian soldiers repelled 3 Russian attacks.
Northern border. The Russian occupiers maintain their military presence, shelling settlements in Chernihiv and Sumy regions from the territory of Russia, and conducting sabotage and reconnaissance activities.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that Ukrainian soldiers eliminated 980 Russian invaders over the past day. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has already lost more than 564,000 soldiers and tens of thousands of pieces of equipment.
The Russian regime is concealing the losses of its occupation army in the war against Ukraine. The losses of other military formations, including private military companies, are also being concealed.
